A kitten that came into ARC...

"I thought you might like an update on how Kitty is getting on…. First of all, we have renamed her Ziggy, which I hope you approve of! She is an absolute angel and has stolen all our hearts - even Martin's (she slept on his pillow the first night!). You were absolutely right, she is a lovely little kitten and a real character. She just loves being with us - wherever we are in the house, she'll come and find us. When I'm working upstairs in the spare room, she comes up, jumps up on my desk and then settles down to sleep with her head on the keyboard of my laptop!

The girls are completely besotted with her and she is being very spoilt. She has a load of new toys and is constantly being cuddled and played with. She has been extremely good with her litter tray - no problems at all in that area. We made her a bed out of a box and a sheepskin rug, which I used to have for when the girls were babies - she loves it, but spends more time in it during the day than at night. She takes turns at night, either sleeping on our bed or one of the girls. She's very good, though and just settles down and doesn't keep any of us awake.

So, all in all she has been a huge success. I am enclosing a couple of pictures for you so you can see how she's getting on. She had her first jab at the vets on Tuesday and was extremely brave - not even a squeak out of her!

We are very grateful to you for letting us have her and I can promise you she'll be well loved. She hasn't been stressed at all and settled down really quickly, so I'm pretty sure she's happy."
