Harry & Phoebe were mother and son, of 11 & 9 yrs. respectively. In their first home, their male owner died. The wife and children starved and beat the cats until they were rescued and taken to a vet. A veterinary nurse there re-homed them with a lady who cared for them greatly. She had them for a year, nursing back to health and building their confidence & trust. Sadly, she became very ill and they came in to our care last year. Phoebe was very outgoing and loving but Harry was always sad & had upset tummies. They spent many happy months with Joan until, in February of this year, a wonderful home was found in Eton, via the CatChat website. A super household with three people, who had recently lost their house cat. Harry and Phoebe were absolutely perfect for this home and vice versa. Seeing this tale from its beginning to it’s end was one of the most rewarding cases for those involved.
